Awesome Lawson, they call him

Lawson is our 5 yr old Soccer Star! So exciting to watch him play... Here he is about to score a goal. I haven't taken many soccer pics this season, I'm too busy entertaining a toddler!

Cute baby... 18months now!!!

Lennox loved hanging out with Grammy this time! Last time we were around family on our family trip, he would let ANYONE (except lucky me) hold him!

Lawson's very 1st Kindergartedn report card! Proud Family!

Lawson's Lego creation at Grapefest. He did NOT want to leave it there, so I promised a picture!

Sharing a special smoothie treat after working out at our gym, Lifetime Fitness.

L2 dressed up as the crooked ole man for nursery rhyme day. He had to recite the lines for the class and dress in character, lol....

L3 trying to climb out of the bathtub.
Big brother advice from L1

L3 loves to wear his brothers helmets!

Lucky Ducks

One of L3's favorite hobbie's is feeding the neighborhood ducks (as was his 2 brothers at this age). While Bubby and Bubba are at school, we like to take a walk to the pond.... and Lennox can be entertained by the ducks for about an hour or so. He calls them Quack Quacks!

How bout them Apples??

One of the "Things" Ron has done for me over the course of these past 10 years is to occasionally surprise me with my favorite treat from Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory..... A chocolate/caramel/nut dipped apple. There is a Rocky Mountain Choc factory at the mall he has to pass on the way home, so he loves to stop and spoil me and the boys with special treats. This weekend, he decided on trying to make his own. I loved them!

Easy Pumpkin Cupcakes/Muffins. And I mean Easy!

A "recipe" I found on my new favorite website (Pinterest). The EASIEST pumpkin cupcake/muffin recipe.... ever. And very yummy....

Only TWO ingredients.... box of white cake mix and a can of pumpkin. That's it....no oil, no water, no egg.... Just these 2 ingredients!!!
Mix the 2 ingredients, then put into cupcake holders. Bake for 25 minutes at 350. A great treat to bring for any holloween/thanksgiving get togethers.
In order to made them a bit more FM5 friendly, I threw in some chocolate chips and topped with premade cream cheese icing. They were a hit! We delivered warm muffins to the neighborhood kids for an after school snack, and got several recipe requests!
*** next time I may try a spice flavor cake mix

Grammy Visits

Grammy (my Mom) was able to fly in and spend several days with us. While she was here, we went to Grapevine Lake to see the sunset and skip some rocks.... We live like 2 miles from the lake so we love to enjoy it as much as possible!

A favorite FM5 pastime: Skipping rocks

We got to see a pretty cool sunset while we were there!

The boys gave Grammy some late birthday presents....
They made her some pottery at a studio called Color Me Mine.

I think the boys wore out Grammy!
We enjoyed having her, as always!

Crock Pot Caramel Apples

It's officially fall, and that means it's time for me to try out lot's of new recipes! Let the baking/cooking begin..... I'm hoping time allows for me to share some of my favorites!!!

Tonight, for dessert we had these Crock Pot Caramel Apples...
(Taste of Home recipe found HERE)
I have to note that my apples by no means looked like the pretty apple in this picture! Nonetheless they tasted yummy. Super easy to prepare in the afternoon, throw in crockpot, ready to be served after dinner. And it made my house smell delicious!
FM5 gave me the thumbs up to make again. Next time we would prefer to serve with vanilla ice cream instead of the whipped cream.
