November Trip to NY

This year, all 5 of us were fortunate enough to travel to Upstate New York for opening day of deer hunting season! In the past, Ron has always made it up for opening day to spend with his Dad and brother, and he has been able to take one of the boys along each trip. This year we all went (to NY, not hunting that is!). Ron grew up in upstate NY, so there were plenty of friends and family to visit!!!
We stayed with Papa Paul (Ron's dad) and Grandma Mary. Here is Grandma Mary getting her baby fix:

Ron's best bud growing up (also his best man) Misha... These are his 2 girls. They all got to play together for the day. We always have to visit the W's when we are in NY.... and have been talking them into coming down to Texas one day for a visit!

After a FULL day of hunting, they came home with a 10 point buck!

Ron's brother, Uncle Moses got a LOT of play time in with all 3 boys!

Lincoln hanging out with same aged cousin, Tristan. They had to wear orange to play in the backyard because of the hunters!

While they were hunting, L3 and I got to visit the King Ferry winery. Here he is sampling the apple juice!

One of my favorite parts of dressing boys is all the obnoxious hats! I love dressing boys for the fall/winter because it's so fun to put them in flannels, denims, cords, sweater vests, denim jackets, obnoxious hats, boots..... Not as fun as dressing girls, I'm sure... But it seems we can be a lot more creative with boys in the winter months!

Pretzel Bites

These made for a great snack, and next time I will serve with some marinara for a dipping sauce. And I also want to try out a cinnamon/sugar version instead of the salted version.

Definitely worth trying if your family likes warm, bread-y, pretzle-y, salted snacks!

Lawson, cupcake party

Lawson went to a birthday party for one of his Kinder friends. The birthday girl rented out the local cupcake shop and they all got to decorate their own cupcake, along with a lot of other fun... They even had a professional photographer, who sent us pictures of our kids. I loved these picture's of Lawson.

Awesome Lawson, they call him

Lawson is our 5 yr old Soccer Star! So exciting to watch him play... Here he is about to score a goal. I haven't taken many soccer pics this season, I'm too busy entertaining a toddler!

Grandpa L

Grandpa L was here for a 2 night visit from Illinois. Here are a couple pictures from his visit.... We took him to the pumpkin patch one evening... The big boys are off doing there own thing and here is Lennox and Grandpa.... It was great to see you!
